General Manager at Cambria Hotel near Denver International Airport

We are looking for a General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Cambria Hotel near Denver International Airport. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction, while maximizing profitability and efficiency. You will also lead and motivate a team of dedicated staff, providing them with coaching, training, and support. As the General Manager, you will be the face of the hotel and the main point of contact for guests, vendors, and corporate partners.
Main Responsibilities
· Develop and implement strategic plans and budgets for the hotel, in alignment with the brand and corporate goals
· Monitor and analyze the hotel's performance, identify areas of improvement, and implement corrective actions
· Manage and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, sales, and marketing
· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as brand and company policies and procedures
· Recruit, train, evaluate, and retain qualified and engaged staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with guests, vendors, and corporate partners, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty
· Handle guest complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner
· Represent the hotel in the community and industry events, promoting the brand and generating new business opportunities
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred
· Minimum of 2 years of hotel management experience, preferably in a full-service or upscale hotel
· Strong background in sales and revenue management, with a proven ability to increase market share and profitability
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a hands-on and customer-oriented approach
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, hotel management software, and online reservation systems
· Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and demands
· Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks and deadlines
· Able to work a varied schedule, including weekends, holidays, and nights as needed
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
