GROWTH POSITION - BUYER/PLANNER - DIRECT HIRE!
THE RIGHT STAFF has partnered with a global distributor and manufacturer client in their search for an experienced Buyer/Planner to join their growing team in Boise, ID.
We're looking for a candidate who can manage procurement for materials, parts, and packaging supplies as well as coordinate purchasing activities, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery and quality standards. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and an associate degree in business or related fields.
Essential Job Duties:
• Coordinate procurement from purchase to delivery.
• Assist in new product setup.
• Evaluate purchase and vendor minimums.
• Maintain purchase order control.
• Update import and warranty spreadsheets.
• Record cost savings.
• Expedite inbound orders.
• Maintain purchase order database.
• Provide demand plan to suppliers.
Minimum Requirements:
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in database management and spreadsheets.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
Schedule, Pay, & Benefits:
• Office located in Boise, ID.
• Onsite/hybrid work model 4 days onsite & 1 day remote
• Flexible hours; core business hours 8 am to 5 pm.
• Pay starts at $55k and depends on experience.
