POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Physician Recruiter plays a critical role in sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding qualified healthcare providers to ensure the continuous growth and success of MCR Health. This position involves the expansion of the company’s network of healthcare professionals, while ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process. The Physician Recruiter will also work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified healthcare providers 
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including job boards, networking events, cold calling, and referrals, to identify potential physician candidates 
  • Conduct screenings and interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit for the organization 
  • Manage the entire recruitment process per provider, from posting job openings to extending offers of employment 
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs 
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the recruitment process 
  • Presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers and facilitate the interview and negotiation process 
  • Maintaining accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) 
  • Remain up-to-date and informed about industry trends, and regulatory requirements to provide expert guidance to hiring managers. 
  • Supports the goals and mission of MCR Health 
  • Adheres to the safety policies and procedures of MCR Health 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS & PREFERENCES: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 
  • Previous experience in physician recruitment or healthcare staffing, preferably in a healthcare agency or similar setting. 
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including trends, regulations, and physician specialties. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with candidates and clients. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency in using recruitment tools and technology, including ATS and sourcing platforms. 
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively navigate complex hiring processes. 
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
