Qodoro is Hiring a Continuous Improvement Project Manager Near Baldwin, CA
- The job role is for a Continuous Improvement Specialist with strong project management skills, preferably with engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- The candidate will be responsible for leading and driving continuous improvement activities, including analyzing, developing, and tracking cost reductions and working capital improvements.
- The individual will also be responsible for employee training, deploying visual management, leading Kaizen improvement events, and promoting a lean culture across the US Business Unit.
- The candidate will need to coordinate and achieve business goals related to Operational Excellence cost and efficiency improvements, and lead visual management implementation.
- Part of the role includes training team members in Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement practices.
- The candidate will establish cost out targets, budgets, objectives, Kaizen event timetables, policies, capital requirements, material and labor requirements, and other key metrics.
- The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline, and preferably a Master’s degree in operations/industrial management.
- The candidate must have 2-5 years of experience in a similar role with a history of responsible career progression in the Commercial, Private, and/or Military Aviation / MRO industry.
- The candidate must have a demonstrated history of successful change implementation and implementing operational excellence improvements.
- The individual must be familiar with a manufacturing, machining, test, and calibration environment.
- The candidate must be able to manage projects and deadlines, and preferably have a CI or engineering background for the automation project.
- The job is fully onsite, and the assignment will last for at least 6-8 weeks with potential for extension.
