Company Description

RenyMed is a full-service Medical Injection Molder located in Baldwin Park, CA. With over 40 years of experience serving the medical device industry, we provide innovative technology and high-quality production services. Our ISO 13485:2016 certification, ISO Class 8 cleanroom and in-house tooling, ensure timely and reliable manufacturing for our customers. RenyMed employs 70 people.

Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site (hybrid negotiable) role for a Director of Human Resources at RenyMed. The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for staffing, managing HR policies, employee payroll and benefits, personnel management, and other HR-related tasks. The role includes day-to-day activities such as hiring, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. The Director of Human resources will serve on the management team and will report to management on HR related issues. Responsible for managing employee engagement. We have employee volunteers that have formed a FUN committee, which includes the planning of annual company summer activity and winter holiday party. Other events include but are not limited to employee potlucks, ice cream socials, and other employee engagement activities. The Director of HR is responsible for leading our safety program. We have an excellent safety record and a very low Experience Mod. We have established a rotating safety committee, with volunteers from each department tasked with identifying safety hazards in the company and suggesting improvements. a monthly companywide safety meeting, updating employees. Responsible to assure that all safety issues, concerns, and suggestions are addressed in a timely manner. Responsible to provide updates to the company safety policy. The Director of HR will be responsible for staffing production and QC., organizing regular lead and QC meetings, educating and engaging the middle level of supervision in suggested improvements.

Other Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to meet with 3rd shift (overnight shift) as needed and at minimum once every two weeks. (early morning before the end of the shift)

• Other responsibilities as requested by President of RenyMed

Qualifications

Experience in Human Resources (HR) management

• Strong knowledge of HR best practices policies and procedures and commitment to enforcing all policies and procedures with all company personnel.

• Experience in recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding

• Familiarity with employee payroll and benefits administration preferably having experience using Paychex.

• Professional in personnel management and employee relations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Experience in writing and updating employee manuals and training employees on new policies and procedures.

• Ability to lead on-site trainings with up to 40 people in attendance.

• Experience in developing annual employee reviews and system of accountability for employees company wide.

• Ability to write training manuals and ensure employees are trained timely

• Knowledge of California labor laws and regulations and ability to research and learn of new laws with timely implementation within the company.

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.

Other Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with bookkeeping using QuickBooks

Experience using databases and CRM platforms
