CNC Machinists (Multiple Positions) - BWX Technologies, Inc. - Barberton, OHWe are currently seeking candidates to fill multiple manual and CNC machining positions at our facility in Barberton, Ohio. Positions will vary based upon availability and business need, but may include CNC lathes, multi-axis CNC HBMs, Vertical Machining Centers, and VTLs.

• High school diploma or equivalency with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant machining experience
• Must be able to recognize problems as programs are running and demonstrate ability to write/edit programs using both G and M coded controls (experience with Siemens and Fanuc controls preferred).
• Work to ±0.0005” tolerance and microfinish 16 when necessary
• Use higher math and engineering theories to work with tooling engineers to devise optimum tooling design and practices
• Have experience with grinders, tool setters, jacks, clamps, bolts, shims, jigs, fixtures, angle plates, rules, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gages, levels, protractors, verniers, and light hand tools
• Must demonstrate ability to maintain detailed records; must be able to complete process documentation and other production records.
• Be able to pass all proficiency testing for the position
