Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive team. The COO will be responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day operations, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving strategic initiatives to support our growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, management, and analytical skills, with a proven track record in operational excellence and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Oversee daily operations, including production, logistics, procurement, and quality control.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic plan.

Identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and implement initiatives to achieve company objectives.

Monitor industry trends and market conditions to inform strategic decisions.

Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team members meet and exceed expectations.

Promote teamwork and collaboration across departments.

Financial Management:

Manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

Monitor financial performance and implement measures to improve profitability.

Collaborate with the CFO to develop financial forecasts and budgets.

Customer Focus:

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining product quality and timely delivery.

Address and resolve operational issues that impact customer experience.

Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support customer acquisition and retention.

Technology and Innovation:

Oversee the implementation of new technologies and systems to improve operational efficiency.

Drive innovation in production processes and product development.

Stay informed about advancements in additive manufacturing and related technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven experience in the manufacturing or additive manufacturing industry is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of operational processes, supply chain management, and quality control.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives.

Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
