Procom is Hiring a Shipping and Receiving Specialist Near Beaverton, OR
Our client seeks a driven and dependable Shipping and Receiving Specialist to assist their Beaverton team with timely and accurate preparation, tracking, and processing of all inbound/outbound IT desktop equipment deliveries. The ideal candidate is adaptable, has strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and thrives in a fast-paced environment!
Shipping and Receiving Specialist Responsibilities
- Handle the shipment and receipt of all desktop equipment.
- Create inbound and outbound shipping labels using the UPS global shipping tool.
- Clean, sort, and box incoming/outgoing desktop equipment.
- Scan equipment into and out of inventory to ensure accurate tracking of items.
- Assemble new hire, break fix, and termination shipment boxes.
- Correspond with internal/external contacts to troubleshoot, research, and resolve shipping inquiries and issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving staging area.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
- Tech-savvy and able to learn new systems quickly.
- Proven proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organize with exceptional attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
- Able and willing to stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds.
