Come Join a Leader in the Metal Recycling Industry!We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to implement policies and lead initiatives pertaining to the environmental department for our Northern Region.This position is based in Becker, MN and will include travel to our sites regularly.We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, 401k, paid time off, employee assistance program, and more!Essential duties and responsibilities:Inspects the facility to identify environmental compliance. Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings.Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevanttopics.Maintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants.Required Skills/Abilities:Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficient in technology, equipment, Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Education and Experience:Bachelors degree in Environmental or related fieldFive years of related experience preferred.Physical Requirements:Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.About EMR Metal Recycling:Our mission is to provide our customers with efficient and reliable metal recycling services while minimizing the environmental impact of our operations.
