Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC problems.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, such as cleaning and replacing filters.
- Test and repair HVAC components, such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators
- Charge and evacuate refrigerant systems.
- Install and maintain ductwork.
- Work with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to complete projects
- Performs other related projects and assignments as business dictates.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem-solve and think critically.
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Bilingual and Biliterate English and Spanish, preferred.
Education And Experience
- High school diploma, GED (or equivalent experience)
- Consider vocational training or an apprenticeship in HVAC technology.
- 2 years working on HVAC systems.
- Regular attendance is required during your scheduled shift.
- Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, dusty, and foggy working conditions depending on weather.
- Must be able to work in all positions (bending, climbing steps, kneeling, reaching, and crawling) and be able to continuously lift from 5 to 25 pounds.
