Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Manager at C&C Marine and Repair located in Belle Chasse, LA. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing occupational health and safety, conducting safety training, investigating accidents, and ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations. The Safety Manager will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining industrial safety standards.
Qualifications
- Occupational Health and Safety Training
- Accident Investigation and Documentation
- Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) compliance
- Knowledge of Industrial Safety standards and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and on-site in Belle Chasse, LA
- Experience in the shipbuilding or maritime industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
