Weekend Security Overnight

As an unarmed Security Officer at DK Security, your duties may vary depending on the site you are working. This opening is at multi-warehouse distribution center for a large Midwest retailer.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to :

• Delivery Access Control - Check in / out Semi Truck deliveries at the Guard House using computer software.
• Patrolling - Walk the interior and exterior of the various buildings on site, keeping an eye out for security, safety, or maintenance issues.
• Mobile Patrol - Drive the security vehicle around the site, patrolling parking lots and building exteriors.
• Warehouse Access Control - Ensure the client's employees complete their COVID health screenings. Provide next step directions depending on results.
• Basic Computer Skills - Must be able to navigate around a computer and pick up new skills quickly.

• Every Weekend
• 12 : 00AM - 12 : 00PM (Noon)
• Part Time 24 hours a week

PERKS :

• Pay Rate : $16.50 / hour (pay rate set by current contract; subject to future increases)

LOCATION : Bellefontaine , OH

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• May NOT have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.
• Must present a friendly, positive, and professional image.
• Must be willing to become CPR / 1st Aide / AED Certified
• Physical Requirements :
• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking long distances, and possibly up and down stairs
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations
