We have an immediate opening for a Warehouse Supervisor in our Bellingham, WA facility.

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees all warehouse operations as a hands-on leader, serving and motivating warehouse employees, leading by example, and fostering a positive team-building atmosphere. The candidate will supervise and continuously improve all inbound, outbound, and internal inventory movement. This person will work closely with the National Distribution Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervision, training, and direct assistance of warehouse operations which include, but not limited to, loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, and inventory control.
• Leading by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed.
• Drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement.
• Complete and deliver employee documentation, training, and performance reviews.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels by leading regular physical cycle counts with warehouse teams and reconcile discrepancies with the warehouse inventory system.
• Ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and adhering to standard operational procedures.
• Measure and report KPIs and operational metrics to the National Distribution Manager on a weekly basis.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, leadership, and conflict resolution.
• Strong knowledge of modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Critical thinking ability and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Must be able to multi-task several tasks at once.
• Must be detailed oriented while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory management software.
• Able to operate forklift, order picker and electric pallet jack equipment.

Required Education and/or Experience:

• 3 years of management experience in Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics.
• Proven track record of managing at least 5 to 10 warehouse employees.
• Experience with inventory control, inventory reconciliation, and/or cycle counting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
