Description
Job Title: Clinical Assistant – Full Time
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team; you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the nursing team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Schedule appointments, procedures and transportation for patients
- Maintaining the nursing schedule to ensure nursing shifts are covered.
- Assuring nursing supplies and equipment are available 24 hours per day
- Maintaining monthly inventory, placement of orders for resident medical and nursing supplies and equipment; overseeing stocking of nursing units with supplies; overseeing receiving of orders and assisting in other departments as designated.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and their families
- Assist nursing staff with various tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting.
