Job Description:
As an Electro Mechanical Tech III at CoorsTek, you will play a critical role in integrating automation technology for manufacturing processes. Working under little or no supervision, you will be responsible for constructing new specialized machines and assisting in the integration of factory automation equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in integrating factory automation equipment and constructing new specialized machines.
• Use engineering designs, technical drawings, and instructions to build high-complexity automation systems.
• Program PLCs using Ladder Logic and State Languages.
• Interpret programs and logic diagrams for automation and specialized machinery.
• Install complex Industrial Robotics according to engineering designs.
• Apply machine safety devices and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Perform machining, welding, and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Train production operators in automation usage.
• Stay updated with automation industry trends and technology advancements.
• Maintain automation department component stock and assist in inventory management.
• Participate in safety evaluations and implement solutions for potential hazards.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Associates Degree in electronics/technical field.
• Experience: 8 years in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced proficiency in using a variety of tools and high-level math skills.
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, Ladder Logic, State Logic PLC languages, I/O schemes, and mechanical principles.
• Experience with Industrial Robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, motion control, sensors, and vision systems.
• Journeyman level welding and sheet metal fabrication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and cultures.
