Our client is a leading manufacturing company located in New Berlin, WI. As they continue to grow, they are seeking to add a dedicated Accounting Specialist/Junior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This position offers a unique opportunity to start on a temporary basis with the potential to transition to a permanent role.

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Accounting Specialist/Junior Accountant with a strong background in both accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). The ideal candidate MUST have hands-on experience with IFS and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Support general accounting functions and perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.
• Utilize IFS ERP software for daily accounting tasks and data management.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience with IFS ERP is required.
• AP/AR Knowledge: Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment and manage remote and on-site tasks effectively.
• Team Player: Collaborative attitude with a willingness to assist team members and contribute to the company’s success.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
