Job Tile: Pediatric Nurse- Dermatology
Work Schedule: 40 hours/week Monday-Friday
Locations: Delafield, Mequon, New Berlin, Forest Home
What you will do:
The Pediatric Nurse -Dermatology nurses support providers are regional clinics, triage, and complete prior authorizations for prescribed biologics and various other treatments.
Additional Responsibilities:
Functions with demonstrated expertise in the delivery of direct nursing care to children with a variety of health care needs and their families within a specific ambulatory clinic. Assists in establishing and maintaining a quality standard of nursing care for a defined pediatric population. Partners with healthcare team and assesses, prioritizes and provides nursing care to clinic patient population. Meets specific requirements, goals, and competencies established within each ambulatory clinic.
What you will need:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an ADN or a BSN in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse (BSN is preferred).
  • Prefer two years pediatric and/or specialty nursing experience with emphasis on managing patients with chronic/complex health care needs.
  • A current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification - American Heart Association (AHA) training may be recommended through Children's University within 1 year of hire.
