Mission Manager: Human Resources
This position's main function is to promote and champion the parish mission through the Management for all Human Resources functions, building engaged employees. This position is responsible for providing services in human resources; employee relations, performance management, benefits, time and attendance, HRIS, Policy development and Safeguarding program services. HR maintains compliance with all state and federal laws and the policies and procedures of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
· Understand and follow the employee handbook, safety and all required policies and procedures of the Parish and Archdiocese
· Understand and follow the code of conduct and ethical standards. Collaborate with staff, and leadership in the ongoing development and implementation of the parish/school mission.
· Practicing good stewardship of the Parish Resources.
Manage primary Human Resources functions
· Employee relations, performance management, coaching, training, employee engagement.
· Recruitment, selection, and retention activities for all staff.
· Prepare compensation benchmarking and wage and salary assignment seeking just wages for staff.
· Prepare offer letters, contracts and salary increases
· Complete requested employment verification forms
· Manage and deliver employee orientation and on boarding.
· Maintain staff files and documentation.
· Maintain, educate and train the employee handbook, policies and procedures.
· Maintain current, well-organized files and records
· Administrate Parish benefit plans; 403b, health and welfare, paid time off and recognition program
· Prepare invoices for payment to ensure proper coverage, reimbursements, and expense allocations. Prepare offer of employment letters.
· Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
Execute time and attendance for payroll/HRIS
· Ensure HRIS is maintained accurately, process new hires, changes, terminations
· In collaboration with Finance prepare payroll calendar for approval; communicate thereafter
· Accurately prepare and submit bi-monthly time and attendance into payroll
· Educate employees on how to use HRIS/payroll and benefits portal.
Coordinate Safeguarding All God’s Family program
· Educate staff on Safeguarding requirements as well as volunteers who are currently certified

Qualifications
Qualifications: Education, Training, Experience, Skills and abilities.
· Bachelor's degree in human resources or closely related field of study.
· HR Certification preferred.
· At least 3 years' experience as a HR leader in a corporation or organization
· Knowledge of state and federal labor and employment laws and regulations
· Ability to recruit and retain a quality staff
· Knowledge and skills in HRIS, Benefit Administration, performance management, leadership coaching, strategic planning, employee training and development.
· Proficient in MS office, accounting systems, payroll
· Excellent communication skills written and oral
· Presentation and training skills
