We are seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our amazing team in Bethel Park, PA

At Bethel Park Animal Clinic we provide a full range of services for dogs, cats, and exotics! Our 6-doctor hospital has 9 exam rooms (2 exotic rooms, 6 small animal rooms, and 1 comfort/euthanasia room), 1 large surgical suite with 2 surgical tables, 1 dental suite with fully digital dental radiology. We are equipped with cutting-edge technology including in-house CBC/Chem/UA, digital cytology, pharmacy with a registered pharmacy technician and two ultrasounds (one high-end machine for full abdominal scans).

We are proud to offer a comprehensive range of services. Our day-to-day appointments are a great mix of annual exams and vaccines mixed with sick appointments and urgent cares. We are one of the few clinics to offer full abdominal ultrasounds and a wide spectrum of exotics surgeries performed by our exotics DVM. Small animal surgeries are a mixture of soft tissue surgeries (spay, neuter, gastropexy, mass removals, cystotomy, ophtho procedures, occasional GI surgery/liver biopsy/foreign body/pyometra) as well as all basic and intermediate level dentistry including full mouth extractions.

Whether you are a new graduate, or an experienced doctor, we are the practice for you! We have a fantastic clinic staffed by a great mixture of senior technicians with a high level of experience and younger technicians eager to learn the ropes! We value teaching and the continuous improvement of our staff regarding both technical skills and client communication skills. Our DVM team is a great mix of fantastic doctors who practice high quality, evidence-based medicine with a focus on continuous learning. We are passionate about mentoring and supporting veterinarians through our Mentorship and Leadership Development programs. Our Mentors receive extensive mentorship training and are now Certified Clinical Mentors, so any new graduates can participate in a structured and rewarding mentorship program.

Our Management and medical leadership are committed to supporting our team through career development, continuing education, and personal goals. We aim to have in-house CE on a variety of subjects at least quarterly for our DVM staff; previous topics have included seizure management, case-based anesthesia, and cytologic evaluation of dermal and SQ masses. All Veterinarians will find interesting, diverse, and challenging cases, with a manageable caseload. We work hard to foster a healthy and positive clinic culture where we value each individual and place a priority on the wellbeing of our team.

Bethel Park, PA is in the South Hills of Pittsburgh just a quick drive south of downtown Pittsburgh (~20 minutes). Pittsburgh is well known for its low cost-of-living and the South Hills offers a wide variety of neighborhood types, from quiet communities to bustling suburbs.
