Senior Strategy Marketing Manager - Billerica, MA - Hybrid (2x a week) - Chemical Manufacturing

Annapurna are proud to be representing a leading global specialty chemicals manufacturing company, looking to hire a new Senior Strategy Manager. You will lead the charge in developing cutting-edge solutions that contribute to a sustainable future.

You will:

• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for the business unit (BU) that align with the overall corporate objectives.
• Manage the Long-Range Plan (LRP), ensuring it supports the strategic goals and growth aspirations of the BU.
• Examine the industry landscape, including market trends, growth drivers, and competitor actions, both upstream and downstream.
• Apply insights from industry analysis to refine BU strategies, ensuring they remain aligned with market conditions.
• Spearhead the creation of business cases for BU-specific organic projects such as expansions and debottlenecking initiatives.
• Play a crucial role in negotiating long-term contracts, using business acumen to secure advantageous terms for the BU.
• Lead asset road-mapping and strategic pricing initiatives.
• Drive business transformation efforts, managing changes that improve operational efficiency and competitiveness.
• Serve as a strategic partner to BU commercial teams, offering guidance and support during critical negotiations.
• Develop and implement BU's inorganic strategy, leading M&A and partnership efforts in collaboration with key stakeholders to achieve desired results.

Education/Experience:

• Preferably hold a Bachelor’s or University degree in science, engineering, or finance. An MBA is highly desirable.
• Experience in leading strategic projects, strategic planning, M&A, or strategic marketing.
• Required experience in B2B chemicals, industrial, or manufacturing industries.
