Intermountain Health is Hiring a Pharmacy Intern Near Billings, MT
As a Pharmacy Intern you will learn how to:
- Assist the pharmacist in all phases of drug distribution and monitoring. Fill orders and manage inventories for floor stock. Refill, exchange, charge, and credit medications.
- Compound IV mixtures according to policy.
- Fills orders and refill and stock medications for all departments and affiliates, including management of automatic dispensing units when assigned.
- Support the clinical functions of the department by assisting the pharmacist in retrieving data, screening profiles and doing calculations.
- Serve as a back up to other support positions. Complete assignments designed to compliment the academic learning requirements of pharmacy licensure and practice.
- Promote mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abide by service behavior standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current Student or recent graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy, required
- Licensure by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy as an Intern, required
- At least six (6) months of hospital pharmacy experience, preferred
