Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Production Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing and possess strong leadership skills to oversee production processes effectively.

Description of Job:

· Learn, be able to train, and backup all functions of the department (Monguzzi, Splicer, Edgemaster, Forklift)

· Main point of contact for giving direction to the employees on the shift

· Effectively mentor, coach and guide employees in their area

· Recommend and drive corrective actions

· Effectively communicate with leaders in other departments to ensure alignment

· Facilitate team meetings; Tier leader in MVantage Program

· Accountable for meeting all production goals

· Support Continuous Improvement efforts

· Lead by example: safe, punctual, drive for good quality and on time delivery

· Perform required AX steps for production process including ending orders

· Approves Work Instruction drafts

Requirements:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Prior leadership experience preferred

· Ability to make decisions with limited information and act on those decisions

· Computer experience to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. AX experience a plus

· Ability to adapt quickly to change, work under stressful situations and multitask

· Certified Forklift Driver required, will train

· Certified First Responder required, will provide classes

· Read a tape measure, use a moisture meter and calipers

· Frequent lifting, twisting and bending

· Frequent lifting up to 30 pounds, occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs

· Stands/walks throughout shift – 10 hours

• 10 hour shift
• 4x10
• Day shift
