Required QualificationsClassroom experience in early childhood setting; ability to work collaboratively in curriculum planning and implementation; ability to assist in documentation of learning experiences; strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred QualificationsDegree in child development, early childhood education or related field or equivalent training or experience. Administrative experience, preferably in an early childhood setting. Supervised experience in working with young children in groups. Teaching experience. Experience working with social constructivist, inquiry based approaches to education and Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. Experience working in a NAEYC accredited and/or VSQI rated school. Working knowledge of Virginia's Early Learning and Development Standards.
