Schreiner Group LP is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Blauvelt, NY
Responsibilities:
- Conduct periodic and routine inspections/audits on production floor and in other departments, as needed.
- Recognize, report and record internal deviations to normal operating procedure as it pertains to documentation and the manufacturing of labels.
- Review in process documents including, but not limited to, job jackets, control plans, samples, test results, core labels in all areas of production and prepress.
- Maintain Quality system records and documents as needed, conduct gap analysis when assigned.
- Inspect completed work to certify that product meets standards, and that the product is ready for release to customer.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalent Degree (GED) or higher educational degree.
- 2-3 years’ experience in quality control in a manufacturing, printing environment.
- Intermediate level of computer knowledge in the Microsoft Office Suites.
- Knowledge of cGMP, ISO, and Lean Management is a plus.
- Ability to lift 20-45 pounds.
- Standing or sitting for long periods of time.
- Work activity requires repetitive bending, reaching, walking, stooping, and crouching, lifting, and climbing. Job duties also require regular use of fingers and hand
