Located in Bloomfield Hills, Marian is a Catholic college preparatory school for young women sponsored by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The mission of Marian High School is to ensure, within a Christian environment, an excellent education built on a strong academic curriculum, which will enable young women to value human diversity and live responsible lives of leadership and action based on gospel values.
Marian High School is actively seeking to fill this administrative position, full time, beginning immediately. The Athletic Director reports directly to the Principal and plays a crucial role in supporting the school’s administrative team. This position is responsible for managing all facets of the school’s athletic programming. The Athletic Director will serve the Marian Mission and Vision, first and foremost, in all decisions and practices. Please see below for a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)
At least 3 years of experience as a school building administrator
Varsity-level coaching experience
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Ability to navigate difficult conversations with empathy and clarity
Commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative school culture
Strong written and verbal communication skills
