TitleTechnical Project Manager
Belong, Connect, Grow with KBR! The Advanced Analytics and Cloud Program within KBR is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a future opportunity in Bloomington, Indiana (awaiting contract award). The program supports government customers within the Department of Defense (DoD) on various projects to develop solutions incorporating technologies such as machine learning, artificial intelligence (ML/AI), and cloud infrastructure.
Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.Responsibilities
  • In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of a highly complex project.
  • This includes coordination of Field Service Representative (FSR) support, data capturing on vehicles, cloud migration, software development (including BI dashboards), data engineering, and analytics.
  • You will lead a diverse team of developers, data scientists, and technology experts to deliver cutting-edge solutions for the Department of Defense.
  • Your role will involve close collaboration with government stakeholders to understand their requirements, manage expectations, and ensure successful project delivery.
Basic QualificationsCitizenship: Must be a US Citizen. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
Clearance: Active DOD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain.
Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 7 years of project management experience, including experience managing large, complex projects.
Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with project management software and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of cloud migration processes.
  • Experience with software development, particularly BI dashboard development.
  • Familiarity with data engineering and analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in the defense industry or working with DoD projects.
  • Knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience managing remote and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience with military ground vehicles.
Relocation to Bloomington, Indiana (or surrounding area) is preferred, however, remote may be a possibility.
