Job Overview:
We are currently looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating a forklift to move materials within our warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize forklift equipment to transport materials within the warehouse
- Perform loading and unloading of goods from trucks or storage areas
- Conduct regular equipment checks and report any maintenance needs
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Assist in inventory management and stock organization
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations
Experience:
- Prior experience in operating forklifts, including proficiency with Clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, Cherry pickers, and other related equipment
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and materials handling tasks
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes is a plus
- Knowledge of equipment repair and maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse operations such as loading/unloading and materials handling
