The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager is responsible for managing the following activities & accessing capabilities on a regional scale: security system monitoring and response, logistics load tracking, security risk assessments, communications, reporting, emergency response, and dispatching in a 24/7 environment.
This position has high visibility and is directly accountable for the effective and efficient management of the GSOC and its staff. This role requires strong supervisory experience, the ability to build and foster a team approach, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to work collaboratively with Consumer Electronics (CE), Home Appliance, and Mobile business partners.
  • Identify, train, develop, and manage SCC Operators in order to meet the goals and deadlines of our organization
  • Provide timely communication and actionable intelligence to protect people, assets/intellectual property, and infrastructure of all interests/entities
  • Perform analysis and action plans to ensure the SCC is delivering maximum value to the business
  • Identify and communicate daily critical situations requiring the attention of senior management to ensure all systems, both hardware, and software, are functioning properly
  • Maintain strong knowledge of security threats, remediation, and operational best practices, liaising with law enforcement as necessary
  • Enhance the functionality and proficiency of the Security Control Center to include operating capabilities and managing incident response across an enterprise
  • Assume full responsibility for identifying and scheduling all appropriate certifications and inspections for the SCC, systems, personnel, and functions
  • Ensure procedures and protocols are in place that enable the timely and effective response to, and management of, incidents, alarms, notifications, calls, and other activities related to the SCC and its role as a central monitoring station
  • Collaborate with security executives across the organization to help envision and deliver company-wide security initiatives; evaluate, prioritize, and resource security projects and programs based on input from appropriate stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • GSOC management experience
  • 5-8 years prior experience in security management
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or military experience
  • Experience with the following control room hardware
  • Load tracking software applications
  • Video Walls and controllers
  • Documented experience and competency in the following Security Software Systems:
  • Access Control/ID systems
  • Video Analytics software/technology
  • Incident Management and computer-assisted dispatch software
  • CCTV/Video Management systems
  • Mass Notification systems (Everbridge is a plus)
  • Outstanding customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Possesses excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates courage with complex issues despite discomfort.
  • Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills that drive results.
  • Knowledge of processes & procedures development.
  • Excellent computer skills and comprehension of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
