Position Summary Information
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food service sanitation practices.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
License/Certification Required

ServeSafe for Managers tor other ANAB-CFP Accredited Food Safety Manager Certification preferred, or ability to achieve certification in first 90 days

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Operations Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned retail outlets, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and food quality requirements.
  • Develop and implement efficient operating procedures to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to drive revenue growth.
Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise retail staff, including baristas, cashiers, and food service workers.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members to enhance their performance and professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
Customer Service Excellence:
  • Ensure that all customers receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience and loyalty.
Financial Management
  • Monitor budgetary targets and control costs through effective resource allocation and expense management.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to track sales trends, expenses, and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
Quality Assurance:
  • Maintain high standards of product quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with brand standards and university policies.
  • Collaborate with the culinary and procurement teams to source high-quality ingredients and products.
