Jean Simpson Personnel Services is Hiring a Survey Crew Chief Near Bossier, LA
We are seeking an experienced Crew Chief Surveyor for a company in Bossier City, LA.
Pay Range: $18-$25/HR DOE
In this role, the Crew Chief will work primarily in the field on control - topographic surveys, civil surveys, and pipeline surveys. You will be the Chief to one, two, or three-person field crews in urban and remote Louisiana/Arkansas.
Job Responsibilities:
- Will accurately run and adjust survey measuring instruments including levels, GPS equipment, and total stations with electronic data collecting capabilities.
- Performs mathematical calculations and field checking of field data.
- Take accurate and clear notes and perform note reduction.
- Reads and understands plans and specifications.
- Know basic sources of measurement errors.
- Know the principles of documentation, staking, and marking
- May also perform some office duties, including data reduction, field note reduction, calculations, data checks, and staking computations using survey computer programs and AutoCAD.
5 years of previous experience is preferred.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am until done. Will work overtime and occasional weekends.

Pay: $18.58 - $25.00 per hour
