We are seeking a motivated Capital Project Manager to lead a project team through significant capital investments over a multi-year project. This includes leading internal and external experts through basic and detail engineering phases.

In this exciting role you will:

• Independently execute CAPEX projects from concept to the commissioning within the specified time, budget and quality limits to the satisfaction of the stakeholders ensuring the economic success of the company
• Be the expert in scope definition and execution of investment projects and provide support to enable the strategic as well as short-term business objectives and meeting the financial projections of the company.
• Ensure that investment projects and initiatives are compliant with related safety and environmental standards as well as consistently follow best engineering practice. Provide holistic view on investment projects, identify gaps in knowledge or support and provide resources or expertise.
• Identify and coordinate with external partners. This pertains to engineering partners, but also extends to contract manufacturers, as well as scientific institutions, suppliers, or authorities.
• Develop, implement & maintain a set of engineering design and proactive operations protocols to standardize equipment & design considerations, continuously improve mechanical integrity and reliability of the equipment and facilities.
• Lead and coach project engineers, develop their skills and experience as well as transfer knowledge to them
• Assist site management to ensure all projects on the site receive engineering support as required

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Qualified Engineer with 10 years of experience
• Proven Track record in delivering complex-multiyear- capex projects
• Knowledge of US construction & building code
• Process knowledge of Spray Drying, Extraction & Fermentation
• Ability to lead large teams of both internal & external resources
• Awareness of US AIA EPC contracts
• Understanding of modern plant design
• Ability to manage financial budgets
