Position Summary:

  • Assist customers with needed parts, interacting extensively to clarify their needs, research and recommend parts, provide quotes, and take orders.
  • Actively create new and add-on sales and generate leads for Outside Sales.
  • Provided sales support and service to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), industrial companies, heavy equipment customers, etc., where fluid power is utilized.
  • Dependability and punctuality necessary.
  • Must be fluent in English, motivated, and have excellent computer and communication skills.

Role Qualifications:

  • Must partner with the Sales team to provide customers with service as outlined in thedepartment’s policy and procedures.
  • Must address customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution.\

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide time and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
  • Process customer orders/changes according to established department policies and procedures
  • Process customer returns according to established department policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the Credit Department to resolve disputed credit items.
  • Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
  • Partner with sales rep to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in fluid power or industrial environment.
  • Product knowledge of fluid power products and applications.
  • Time Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or Fluid Power degree
  • Preferably to have at least 1 year experience in Industrial or fluid power distribution.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
