Century Group is partnering with a client for a seasoned Vice President of Finance responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of our organization. You will collaborate closely with the President and senior management to drive financial growth, efficiency, and compliance. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, implementing effective processes, and ensuring the company meets its financial commitments. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $180,000 to $235,000 per year.
Responsibilities:

• Serve as a financial advisor to the CEO and executive team, providing insights for strategic planning.

• Develop appropriate tracking methods for revenue and expenses.

• Prepare timely and accurate analyses, summaries, and reports of financial data.

• Create a reliable cash flow projection process with a minimum cash threshold to meet operational needs.

• Collaborate with senior leaders to establish revenue targets.

• Lead the development of the annual Business Plan and monthly Profit & Loss forecasts.

• Implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance growth.

• Evaluate financial processes and systems for continuous efficiency improvements.

• Support staff development, training, evaluation, coaching, and succession planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting.

• 7 years of progressive Accounting and Finance experience.

• Manufacturing industry experience.

• Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Accounting, and Cost Accounting.

• Strong decision-making skills and ability to see initiatives through.

• Self-starter with an action-oriented mindset.

• Proficient in managing people, projects, and tasks.

• Excellent communication skills across various organizational levels.

• Highly proficient in Excel.
