What You'll Do:

• Payroll Processing : Accurately and punctually process payroll, verify timekeeping records, and address any discrepancies.
• Data Entry and Recordkeeping : Maintain comprehensive and confidential employee data within our HRIS system and prepare necessary reports.
• Compliance and Reporting : Assist with audits, ensure the accuracy of tax reports and filings, and resolve employee payroll issues.
• System Management : Utilize and troubleshoot payroll software, collaborating with IT support when needed.
• HR Projects : Engage in various HR initiatives related to payroll, billing, and tax matters.

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

• Communication Skills : Clear and effective communication is essential for responding to employee inquiries about payroll and benefits and for collaborating with other departments such as HR, Finance, and IT.
• Detailed Oriented : Accuracy is crucial in payroll processing to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time, as well as in managing benefits data to prevent errors and discrepancies.
• Problem-solving Abilities : The capability to identify and resolve payroll and tax issues
• Ethical Conduct : Demonstrates ability to uphold ethical standards by maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive employee information and adhering to ethical standards in payroll administration.
• Continuous Learning : Staying updated on changes in payroll and tax regulations, technology advancements, and best practices.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Acounting, or related field.
• 2 or more years of relevant HR experience, including exposure to benefits and payroll practices and principles.
• Experience with payroll software and timekeeping systems.
