The HR Generalist will assist with recruiting, payroll and administrative duties.

This position works onsite in our Guatemala office, 

Position Responsibilities 

• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
• Maintains compliance with local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
• Skillfully change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
• Effectively communicate with patience and understanding 
• Remain positive and professional in all internal and external customer interactions
• Potential to assist the Call Floor with phone calls if the need arises.
• Flexibility to cross train as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned, management reserves the right to assign or reassign functions and responsibilities to this job description at any time.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recruiting experience required (preferably your most recent experience)
• Previous call center experience preferred
• Previous HR experience preferred
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred
• Quick learner and able to work independently and with a team
• Positive attitude
• 18 years of age, a background check applicable with local laws is required
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English (Must be @ a level C1 or above)

• Maintaining ,composure in challenging situations
• Ability to use technology effectively and productively
  • The ability to work proficiently in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and other software systems.

• Regularly required to sit
• Regularly required to use hands, feet, handle and control objects
• Occasionally required to reach, stoop, kneel or crouch
• Occasionally required to lift and/or carry loads of up to 30 lbs
• All standard vision abilities are required
• All standard hearing abilities are required

Hours and Status

• Primarily Monday-Friday from 9:00 am-6:00 pm CST/US. However, there could be times where hours/days worked could change pending business need.
• Status - Full Time
• Monthly bonus opportunity (performance bonus parking bonus)
  • Plus a three part sign on bonus
• Pay = up to 9,950 GTQ monthly
