Jake's Restaurant is seeking an ambitious General Manager to take over store operations. This is a great opportunity for a restaurant or assistant manager to take the next step in their career!

Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise the floor staff, including training, and performance evaluations

- Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures

- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed

- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and timely food delivery

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues that may arise

- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash register transactions

- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process of new employees

- Implement strategies to improve overall efficiency and productivity

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a leadership role within the food industry or hospitality sector

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in cash handling procedures

- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations is preferred

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
