Weir ESCOBucyrus OHOnsiteShift Timing – 11 PM EST TO 7 AM EST Purpose of Role: The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating a range of production machinery, including CNC machines, drills, grinders, forklifts, and burners, to manufacture high-quality steel parts. The primary objective is to ensure that all parts are produced accurately and within the specified timeframes, adhering to safety and quality standards..

Key Responsibilities:
  • Machinery Operation: Efficiently operate a variety of production machinery, including CNC machines, drills, grinders, forklifts, and burners, to produce steel parts accurately and safely.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and analyze blueprints and technical specifications to guide the machining processes and ensure parts meet required dimensions and tolerances.
  • Quality Control: Monitor production processes and document any exceptions or issues. Address problems promptly to maintain high standards of quality and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with shop employees and report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor to ensure smooth operation and effective communication throughout the production process.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma/GED
  • Experience: 2 years in Manufacturing industry
  • Other Necessary Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Mathematics, Problem solving
