We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer with a background in Aerospace to join our growing team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals in the engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Aerospace sector.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain our products or services to customers and prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
  • Generate high-quality sales leads, follow up after initial meeting, and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Develop technical proposals and quotes for clients, and negotiate contracts to secure new business.
  • Provide technical training and support to customers, and assist in the resolution of any customer issues or concerns.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and new opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts to management, and work towards meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Aerospace industry.
  • Proven track record in Technical Sales, Business Development, and Customer Retention.
  • Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to develop clear and compelling technical proposals.
  • Excellent contract negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successfully closing deals.
  • Experience in account management, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Strong understanding of the Aerospace industry, including knowledge of industry trends and competition.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong desire to exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and prospective customers.
