JOB SUMMARY:

LiteGear leads the Cinematic Lighting industry with leading products for film, television and associated production. This role is responsible for the assembly of sub-assemblies and complete units, of our products, using electrical components and fabricated parts utilizing a variety of hand and power tools, strictly following the specifications provided, under the direction of the Production Manager, to quality standards and production plans as required

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.

Perform in-process quality control on all work at hand to ensure product meet quality standards.

Basic troubleshooting of both mechanical and electrical assemblies.

Perform tasks maintaining established safety procedures in all aspects of work.

Work within set timelines for most projects.

Maintain a positive attitude and solid attendance record

Inspect and verify own work product, and, as required, the work of others

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

High School education or equivalent. High School diploma or GED preferred.

Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.

Basic math skills required.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Ability to solve basic assembly problems and find alternative solutions.

Ability to stand for long periods of time to perform certain tasks.

Regularly perform repetitive tasks.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or GED preferred

  • 1 to 2 years assembly experience is a plus.
  • Specific technical or vocational training or certification preferred.
  • Experience with power and hand tools a plus.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work standing or walking for long extended periods of time. Must have the manual dexterity to use hand tools. Requires walking or standing primarily on a level surface for extended periods of time throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or occasional lifting of 25-40 pounds is required. Proper lifting techniques are required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
