Creamsource is transitioning from a single entity domiciled in Australia selling globally to a fully international group with multiple entities and permanent establishments operating in six jurisdictions and growing. Material uplift of all aspects of financial management is required to support the significant change in the financial complexity of the group. The Regional Accountant –Americas is a critical enabler of scaling Creamsource by ensuring our financial capabilities are embedded within the Americas.

Core Financial Activities

• Undertake the core financial activities including Payroll, Invoicing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Inventory Management and Expense Management

• Coordinate cash management with Creamsource Financial Controller

• Maintain accurate filing and record keeping (mainly within the financial system) of documentary evidence supporting transactions.

Financial Information Integrity and Reporting

• Ensure quality control across financial transactions, recording and reporting

• Identify accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions

• Ensure appropriate treatment of financial transactions – eg revenue and expense recognition

• Support month-end and year-end close processes

• Contribute to the development of policies and procedures and adhere to those policies and procedures

• Produce management reports on a regular basis and targeted analyses as requested Planning and Budgeting

• In partnership with Creamsource Group Accountant co-ordinate budgeting and forecasting activities

Tax and Compliance

• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

• Manage workers' compensation and general insurance arrangements

Ad hoc

• Participate in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business. Scope: supports the following teams and activities • Americas Sales and Marketing (8 people) • Lighting Control Research and Development (4 people) • Creamsource Canada Sales and Marketing (2 people) • LATAM Sales and Marketing (1 person)
