Prepare tax provisions schedules, payments, and reports. Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings. Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals. Work with our global tax consultants, Deloitte. Follow industry trends and track changes in tax law.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Calculate quarterly and annual global tax provision in accordance with ASC 740
- Ensure compliance with Federal and state tax regulations and guidelines
- Calculate monthly tax forecasts for management reporting
- Manage all notices and audits
- Calculate quarterly estimates and make payments
- Calculate monthly transfer pricing charges
- Manage preparation and filing of indirect tax returns
- Will have the opportunity to wear a lot of hats and great opportunity to gain experience across all facets of tax.
COMPETENCY: Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Proven work experience as a tax accountant is required.
- Familiarity with accounting software packages.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Intermediate excel knowledge required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Yes
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting required.
- CPA certificate is preferred.
- MBT is preferred.
- 5 years of tax experience
