Town of Clarksville Police Department is Hiring a Police Officer Near Clarksville, VA

BENEFITS

Minimum Requirements for Police Officer:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Never convicted of any serious misdemeanor or felony charges or domestic violence offense
  • Must undergo an extensive background investigation
  • Must possess a valid Virginia driver's license
  • Must have a complete physical examination, if selected
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts. May be required to work overtime, and subject to have shift assignment changed, based on need of personnel
  • Must complete all DCJS requirements for certification as a Patrol Officer within one year of hire date
  • Must have basic computer skills and be familiar with Microsoft Office software
  • Must qualify with firearms and other defensive weapons

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
