Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for animals, staff, and visitors.
• Developing and coordinating preventative care programs.
• Communicating with clients, animal owners, other veterinary professionals and veterinary students.
• Responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Ensuring that all medical records are up-to-date, organized, and accessible.
• Monitoring the quality of diagnostic tests performed by veterinary technicians.
• Using aseptic techniques in surgery to avoid infection in the patient or in the staff of a veterinary practice.
• Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for vaccines administered to animals in a veterinary practice.
• Conducting laboratory tests to identify disease in animals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Experience:

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Required)
