Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technician to join our team in Canton, OH. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. This position offers a competitive salary and a stable, weekday schedule without on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to established guidelines.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring functionality and safety.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering questions.
- Review and analyze images, identifying normal and pathological conditions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures performed.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout their imaging experience.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Proficient in the use of ultrasound equipment and related technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering high-quality patient care.
