Core Products Company is a manufacturer of cleaning products that sells B2B primarily. We have been in business for over 45 years and have both domestic and international sales.
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative. This position offers an hourly base pay plus a competitive commission structure.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has initiative, drive, and willingness to learn new sales skills. You will be given the ability to build and create a rapport with new and existing customers selling a variety of cleaning products. Manufacturer is looking for a self managing, driven, go getter employee. This dedicated candidate will sell our product line to a wide variety of clients.
90% of this position is cold calling from leads provided through the latest lead generation software.
Must be outgoing, friendly, well-spoken and ready to close the deal.
Job Duties:
95% being on the phones
Nurturing existing customers and establishing new relationships with prospects
Identify & develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations of products. Additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Close new accounts from marketing efforts
Deepen existing account relationships by checking customer's buying history & suggesting related and new items; explain selling features of products.
Maintain communication and good follow-up with potential customers
Qualifications: At least 1 year of proven phone sales experience
Learn and practice active listening skills in order to discover new opportunities, overcome objections, and suggest new products
Communication Skills: must have good speaking and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate to customers about a product's different features, and answer any questions they might have.
Persistence: Not every customer is going to be a sale. Being able to bounce back if you lose a sale will be key for this job.
Ability to prioritize assignments at work
Strong PC skills: experience with CRM system is a plus
Have the ability to manage time effectively and work independently. Must be a self-motivated individual.
Must possess the ability to work with a team and be a team player
Ability to listen and pay attention to details
Creative thinker: the ability to think effectively, develop ideas in providing solution to problems as they come
Must be highly enthusiastic and committed to excellence
Open mind and the ability to work with little or no supervision
Bilingual is a plus
