REEF is Hiring a Copywriter Near Carlsbad, CA

We are looking for a skilled and creative Copywriter to join our Marketing team at REEF. As a Copywriter, you will play a crucial role in crafting compelling and persuasive copy that drives engagement, conversion, and customer loyalty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in growth marketing, understanding how to leverage persuasive language and storytelling to propel our brand forward. The ideal candidate will be a master at interpreting campaign concepts into insightful and clever promotional copy. Regardless of the medium, they can capture the attention of the reader appropriate to the channel they are in. You will be responsible for implementing the brand's new tone of voice across various touchpoints and channels, specifically social media and direct marketing copy in the online customer journey.
You should have a passion for storytelling and making the complex easy to understand, while also having a strategic approach to consumer communication. With an ability to own projects, the Copywriter must be able to give and receive constructive feedback.
Responsibilities:
•Collaborate with the Growth Marketing team to develop creative and impactful copy for various channels, including digital ads, email campaigns, social media, and website content.
•Create persuasive and effective copy that aligns with brand messaging and business objectives.
•Be an expert in REEF's brand voice and speaking to our consumers.
•Contribute to the development and maintenance of brand voice guidelines.
•Work closely with designers and marketing strategists to ensure the synergy between copy and visual elements.
•Optimize copy for SEO and other performance metrics to enhance visibility and reach.
•Stay informed about industry trends, consumer behavior, and evolving best practices in copywriting and growth marketing.
•Come up with creative product names that bring our brand to life.
•Manage external copy resources to ensure all copy is on brand and deadlines are being
met.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
•3 years of experience as a Copywriter, preferably in growth marketing for retail or e-commerce.
•Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and catching mistakes.
•Understanding of digital marketing principles and the ability to tailor copy for different channels and platforms.
•Ability to think strategically and contribute creative ideas to marketing campaigns.
•Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to optimize copy for search engines.
•Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
•Excellent communication and presentation skills.
•Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
•Ability to work in-office Tuesday-Thursday.
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000. The final offer amount will be determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, and impacted area, and may vary from the amount above. This range also does not represent additional compensation benefits.
