Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Carrollton, TX. This is a 6 month with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Location: Carrollton, TX 75010

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23/hr. on W2.

Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm Mon - Fri.

Duration: 6 Months

*Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Job Details:

• The primary responsibilities of this role include rooming patients face to face, taking vitals, refilling prescriptions, providing vaccinations, and drawing labs.
• The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and exhibit a strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Job Requirements:

• Prepare examination rooms for patient consultations and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and common areas.
• Accurately measure and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiration rate.
• Verify prescription information and patient details.
• Administer vaccinations and immunizations following established protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of vaccines administered and inventory levels.
• Collect blood, urine, or other specimens from patients for laboratory testing.

Work Experience:

Minimum of 2 months experience. Two( ) year Medical Assistant experience preferred. Must be BLS & CMA Certified.
