Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant Floater to join our team. As a Medical Assistant Floater, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care in the front and back office. You will assist in various clinical and administrative tasks. This position is based in a office setting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare examination rooms for patients
• Record patient medical history, and vital statistics in EHR
• Obtain patient vital signs
• Collect blood and urine specimens
• Prepare and administer injections
• Assist the provider with procedures
• Authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies
• Call patients with lab results and recommendations
• Scan documents in the EHR
• Clean and sterilize instruments and properly dispose of contaminated supplies
• Schedule patients for appointments
• Check-in and check-out patients
• Collect payments.
• Retrieve faxes and send them to requested personnel.
• Manage office phone lines by checking voicemails, returning calls, and directly to requested personnel.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from a Medical Assistant program
• Medical assistant experience
• Front office experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
