What You Will DoWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Report Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting data to support business operations and decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Management:
- Gather data from various internal and external sources.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency by performing data validation and cleaning.
- Maintain and update databases and data systems as necessary.
- Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports in a timely manner.
- Utilize reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar to create visualizations and dashboards.
- Translate raw data into meaningful insights through clear and concise reports.
- Analyze data trends and patterns to support business decision-making.
- Identify and communicate key insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with different departments to understand reporting needs and tailor reports accordingly.
- Document data sources, methodologies, and processes used in report generation.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of reporting processes and tools.
- Assist in automating and streamlining reporting processes where possible.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and basic formulas).
- Basic understanding of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Familiarity with database query languages (e.g., SQL) is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous internship or academic experience in data analysis, reporting, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Eager to learn and grow in the field of data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
