This role involves collaborating with owners, architects, and design professionals throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual phases to turnover. *Key Responsibilities:* * Navigate project plans and specifications. * Demonstrate proposals and projects proficiently. * Manage multiple assignments simultaneously with attention to detail. * Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Utilize Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, etc.) effectively. * Create conceptual budgets based on client-provided metrics. * Perform constructability reviews on plans at various design stages. * Prepare detailed estimates communicating project costs and scope. * Develop contract exhibits reflecting the final budget for client approval. * Conduct value engineering studies if budget issues arise. * Prepare bidding instructions, trade clarifications, and bid packages. * Review and validate subcontractor bids and schedules. * Expand subcontractor partnerships through outreach. *Qualifications:* * Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering/construction field. * At least 5 years of experience being a preconstruction manager. * Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, and market conditions. * Experience with commercial, hospitality, restaurants, multi-family, medical, and manufacturing projects a must. * Strong work ethic and proactive attitude.
